Bleeding Sweat:
You’ve heard of sweating blood…well folks. I am bleeding sweat. The idea for this came to me a few months ago, and I’ve just decided to run with it. I am a new father, and I am fat. I do not want to be fat. So I found myself at a crossroad. Do I take the easy way out and be the guy that lets the baby slap his fat and call it playtime? Do I end up the guy that watches his kid play, but never truly participates?
Or do I do the right thing by my child, man up and lose the weight so that I can become an integral part of his life?
Easy decision, no? I thought so. But then, I’ve been wrong before.
I’ve been at this for a little while now and have managed to take 30 pounds off. While I know this is nothing to sniff at, I also know that I’m nowhere close to done.
